Born To Rock 디지털 싱글발매와 더불어 Born To Rock 콘서트 (www.BornToFit.co.kr) 가 개최된다.

지난해 ‘갭 트루 뮤직 콘서트’에 이은 제 2회 갭 콘서트인 ‘Born To Rock’ 콘서트는 오는 9월 26일 토요일 저녁 7시 홍대 상상마당에서 개최되며 W&Whale을 비롯해 크라잉넛, 요조, 국카스텐, 킹스턴 루디스카, 포니, 안녕바다 총 7팀의 실력파 뮤지션들이 열정적인 라이브 무대를 선보일 예정이다.

‘Born To Rock’은 듣고 있으면 저절로 리듬을 타게 되는 세련된 비트의 Funk Rock으로 단순하면서도 중독성 강한 반복 악절의 Bass가 곡 전반을 리드하면서 경쾌한 기타의 리듬으로 Groove의 감칠맛을 더 하였다. 2절부터 서서히 드러나는 전자악기는 자칫 단순할 수 있는 Funk 음악에 다양성을 가미해 더욱더 흥겨운 리듬의 클라이맥스를 선사한다. 무엇보다 개성 있는 보컬 Whale은 이번 노래에서도 소절마다 그녀만의 독특한 감성을 표현함과 더불어 이전보다 더 친근하고 청바지와 같은 청량한 느낌을 담아내었다.

공연 수익금은 지난해와 같이 신인 뮤지션 지원금으로 활용된다. 1회 갭 콘서트의 수익금은 지난 2월 장기하와 얼굴들, 갤럭시 익스프레스, 킹스턴 루디스카 3팀의 단독 공연 지원에 쓰여 졌다.

‘Born To Rock 콘서트’ 티켓은 인터파크에서 예매가 가능하며 갭 명동점, 현대백화점 신촌점에서는 한정 수량, 20% 할인된 가격에 판매된다.
